Pranjani is a village west of Gornji Milanovac with deep historical significance — it was the site of the WWII Operation Halyard airstrip, where over 500 Allied airmen were evacuated by the Yugoslav resistance in 1944. Today, Pranjani is a peaceful rural settlement about 30 minutes from our base, and we provide full towing coverage to this area and its surroundings.

The road from Gornji Milanovac to Pranjani heads westward through open countryside and gradually rising terrain. The route passes through several smaller hamlets before reaching the Pranjani plateau, which historically served as the Operation Halyard evacuation airfield during World War II. The road is paved and in reasonable condition, though it narrows in spots and has limited lighting outside of settlement areas. The western approach to the village crosses slightly elevated ground, and winter conditions can bring fog and frost to this exposed stretch. Our crew travels this route regularly and is well prepared for all seasonal road conditions.
