The roads leading here are narrow and climb through dense forest, making professional towing assistance particularly valuable when something goes wrong. Reaching Dragolj requires navigating a succession of increasingly narrow mountain roads that branch off from the main routes out of Gornji Milanovac. The final stretch features steep grades, tight switchbacks, and limited visibility around forested bends. There are no gas stations or repair shops along the way, so a breakdown here leaves you stranded without options unless you call for professional help. The road surface deteriorates at higher elevations, and in winter months snow and ice can linger well after the main roads have been cleared. Despite the challenges, our drivers know the route to Dragolj and carry chains and recovery gear suitable for mountain terrain.
