Gojna Gora is one of the most remote settlements in the Gornji Milanovac municipality, located high in the mountains about 45 minutes from our base. The village is surrounded by thick forest and steep terrain that creates real challenges for drivers, particularly in winter. The drive to Gojna Gora takes you through progressively more mountainous terrain as you leave the Gornji Milanovac valley. The final approach involves a steep, winding road with hairpin turns and drops that demand full attention. In summer the road is manageable but still technical; in winter it can become treacherous when ice and snow accumulate on the shaded mountain sections. There is no alternative route, so getting there requires commitment and the right equipment.
