Topola is a historic town in the heart of Šumadija, famous for the Karađorđević dynasty and the Oplenac memorial complex. The road from Gornji Milanovac passes through mountainous terrain around Rudnik before descending into the Topola valley. Breakdowns on the steep climb over Rudnik are common, and our team is experienced with recoveries on these narrow, winding sections. We reach Topola in about 44 minutes.

The route from Gornji Milanovac to Topola goes through Takovo and then over the Rudnik mountain pass before dropping into Gornja Šatornja and on to Topola. This is also the alternative route to Belgrade for drivers avoiding the highway. The Rudnik section features elevation changes, hairpin turns, and limited visibility — conditions that lead to more frequent breakdowns and accidents, particularly in winter when roads can be icy. Once past Rudnik, the road flattens out toward Topola.
