The road from Gornji Milanovac to Majdan heads north, climbing toward Rudnik mountain. This is the same route that continues through Rudnik, down to Gornja and Donja Šatornja, Topola, and onward to Belgrade — an alternative to the highway that many drivers use. The asphalt road is in fair condition but becomes mountainous past Majdan, with gradients and curves on the approach to Rudnik. Majdan sits roughly halfway between Gornji Milanovac and the Rudnik summit.
