Towing Service Rudnik
15 min arrival | Local road + Belgrade route via TopolaRudnik is a mountain settlement perched on the highest peak in the Šumadija region, just 15 minutes from our base. The roads here climb steeply through forested terrain, and winter conditions — ice, snow, and reduced visibility — make driving particularly hazardous from November through March. We handle more winter recoveries on Rudnik than almost anywhere else in our coverage area, and our team carries chains, winches, and recovery gear suited for mountain terrain.
Rudnik can be reached from multiple directions. The most direct road from Gornji Milanovac heads north through the village of Majdan and then ascends into the mountain. Alternatively, Rudnik is accessible via Takovo from the west, or from Topola for those coming from Belgrade. This mountain is also part of the alternative Belgrade route via Topola, so drivers unfamiliar with mountain driving sometimes find themselves on steep grades they did not expect. Hairpin turns, narrow shoulders, and fog are common features. In summer, Rudnik attracts hikers and paragliders, while in winter the slopes bring occasional recreational visitors. Breakdowns on the mountain are harder to manage without proper equipment, which is why our fast 15-minute response makes a real difference.
